The Route

I'll be leaving Ireland on 16th June for a year, starting off in Amsterdam:) This is the first leg of the trip, travelling by train mostly and a quick ferry across to Morocco.

After Jordan it's into the Mystical East for a few months....

After that it's on to Oz and New Zealand where I'll be working for a few months, picking grapes, cleaning rooms, scaring spiders. Hopefully this will earn me enough to move on to Fiji for a few days at least!

The not-so-fun part.....

I'm trying to get everything organized at the moment, so we went to get our injections on Thursday. All I can say is OW!!

We had to get vaccinated for rabies, hepatitis A & B and typhoid. When we actually got the injections, we were fine, they didn't really hurt. It was AFTERwards that the pain kicked in! I couldn't move my arms for two days and was feeling flu-y, must have been all that rabies!

We have to go back next week for three more injections and then two weeks following that. Just call me the human pin-cushion.

So this is the first post on my travel blog. I'm setting this up really so everyone at home can stay in touch and see how much fun I'm hopefully having ;)
